My name is Julie Petersen. I am married to a wonderful man, Paul, and have a sweet little boy named Oscar. I have co-owned Prestige since June of 2007, doing hair for four years. I LOVE everything this industry has to offer. I can not narrow my passion down to one service, so my favorite thing about cosmetology is being able to offer many services to each and every client. I am proud to be part of such an education driven team that truly desires to be the best we can!

My name is Amy Bormann. I was raised in Revillo, SD. I have two precious little boys named Keaton and Sam. I am married to an amazing man named Mike who has given me three amazing bonus children, Brittany, Kristin, and Dustin. And I’m also blessed with a beautiful grandson, Jeryn. I have been doing hair for fifteen years now. I’ve co-owned Prestige Salon since June 2007 and have loved every minute of it. Making people look and feel good is my passion. I fully believe in education and absolutely love all the awesome rockstars that I get the pleasure to call my family here at Prestige!

Nicole Meseberg


My name is Nicole Meseberg. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Watertown seven years ago with my husband. We have two beautiful children, Isabelle (7) and Isaac (3). I’ve been working in the field of cosmetology the past four years. I love seeing people smile after leaving my chair…It’s a great feeling I hold onto every time. Working in a full service salon allows me to do the many services I love and enjoy. It would be wonderful to see you at Prestige Salon!!

Ashley Gatz

My name is Ashley Gatz. Born and raised in Milbank, SD. I have been doing hair now for a little over 6 years. I love my job and the clients I get to work with everyday. My favorite service in the salon is haircoloring. I have one son; Brayden-1 ½ years old who means the world to me.

Liz Stepanek


My name is Liz Stepanek, and I am one of the front desk managers at Prestige Salon. I am originally from Osakes, MN, but have lived in Watertown since January 2010. Prestige Salon has been a great second home to me, and I really enjoy being part of this family. I am currently enrolled in Cosmetology school at LATI and plan to graduate around April 2012. I am looking forward to continuing my career with Prestige Salon and learning and growing with them. We appreciate all of our customers who contribute to our growth and bright future!

Michelle Wadsworth


My name is Michelle Wadsworth. I was born and raised in Huron, SD, but have been in Watertown since the summer of 2001. I am married to a fabulous man, Gary, and we have two little princesses, Audri (6 years old) and Marli (4 years old). I was a fully satisfied customer of Prestige Salon for four years until March of 2011 when I became an extremely happy employee. I am now one of the front desk managers and love working with the clients that come in. It’s a joy to work with all the fabulous girls here!!!

Rachel Bender


I studied massage therapy at M State Wadena. I graduated in May 2008. I am a Certified Massage Therapist through NCBTMB. I am a member of ABMP. I am licensed in the state of SD. I have worked at Prestige Salon since February 2011. I offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Prenatal massages. (bodywraps and scrubs coming soon!)
